Correlation Between Values And Career
Everyone know most people (especially those who have never seen a process of coaching) never really understand how important values ??and appreciation of them. Our values ??define what makes us happy and what makes us stressed.
From my years of coaching experience, I know that people are often hesitant in their careers because they understand the impact of their values ??in their daily work.
Let’s say one of their estimated values ??is freedom. Is it any wonder that at some point this will begin their region, boredom, lazy and unmotivated? Its performance is low and fired? Another option is to keep doing our best, even if you do not enjoy it, is to go ahead, only to get sick physically demanding some time later in the repression of emotions very unhappy. Needless to say, the same person who has freedom as one of their values, develop into a job with flexible hours, with unexpected situations that require unusual solutions, or as an entrepreneur.
On the other hand, can a person whose number one value is stability. For a person represents the voltage something unexpected, something unusual, a panic attack. That person would never dream of owning your own business and enjoy knowing the surroundings and routines that go with it.
If you are unsure / unhappy / dissatisfied with their current career and not know where to start when it comes to change, be honest about your values ??that will help a lot.
- Ask yourself what situations happier
- If nothing substantial comes back to your childhood / youth and remember your favorite games or sports activities
- A list of all the pieces of work I enjoy most
If after following these five steps, you still feel insecure about their values, you can try to go through a professional management exercise challenge values, “which saw a coach you must be able to do.
